A leading baby charity is to host a star-studded online auction to raise much-needed funds which will save the lives of babies across the country.

Baby LifeLine is a unique national charity offering loving care and support to pregnant mothers and new born babies all over the UK. Funds raised help to supply hospitals with equipment ranging from digital weighing scales to major pieces of technology such as incubators and scanners. The charity is equally proud of the support it gives to training and education programmes for doctors, midwives and other associated health professionals.

Dame Judi Dench, Sir Ben Kingsley, Sir Michael Parkinson, Jimmi Harkishin and Trevor Eve are just a handful of big names in film and television who are supporting the Be My Baby Auction by offering stunning ‘money can’t buy’ prizes.

The auction will run on eBay from 5 November to 15 November. Funds raised will help the charity to pay for lifesaving equipment for maternity and special care baby units in hospitals across the country, and also fund cutting edge training for specialists in the maternity sector.

Dirk Voller, Managing Director of BornFreeTM, said: “The welfare of mothers and their babies across the UK is at the heart of what Baby Lifeline does and we are honoured to be supporting such a charity. We will be doing everything we can to ensure the Be My Baby auction is a huge success and generates the funds the charity needs to continue its lifesaving work.”
